now if we can't figure out a way to end 8 years of walking backwards, my confidence in the american people will be buried just a bit further.
but what i DO believe in is the strength of the youth of america - idealism and confidence.
we NEED change. it's past wanting in... it's past hoping for it... we NEED it.
and WE can make it happen.
i've tried to ignore them due to ALL the hype, but i finally gave in and i can say i love vampire weekend.
if you like indie rock, paul simon, and/or the talking heads... vampire weekend will be your new favorite band.
well, it looks like we will have a classroom after all. the floors and lights are in (although cabinets and sinks are m.i.a.).
friday at noon i'll be there with pizza for anyone who wants to help me unload - i can use all the help i can get. just shoot me an email at todd_stahl@websterschools.org if you want to drop by and help out! hopefully it wont be too long of a day..........

1. watch tommy boy, old school, and superbad. 3 generations of hilarious.
2. play video games. (if you can find someone with an atari or nintendo 64, even better)
3. exercise... you laugh, but it will keep you sane.
4. keep in touch with important people at home. (i didn't always do this, and i regret it)
5. make art. make art. make art.

only 2 and a half weeks left until school starts (although the room doesn't look like it)...
don't forget about your summer artwork - spend some real time on it - the more time you spend now, the less you'll have to spend when school is in full swing...
trust me - its worth it.

with the start of a new school year and the redesign of my classroom comes the redesign of my website. it was time. i guess since i haven't updated it in 6 months or so, it was time to jumpstart it.
